How to Add Your Website to Google Maps with a Google Business Profile

In the Philippines, travelers and local customers alike often check a business’s location and hours on Google Maps. Adding your website to your Google Business Profile lets them move from the map to your menu, courses or inquiry page. Here is the process step by step. Prices are shown in Philippine pesos.

What to prepare

  • A Google account you will use for the business
  • Your exact business name as shown on your signage, including any Korean and English versions
  • Your address, or service area if you visit customers
  • Phone or messaging contact, opening hours by day and business category
  • The website address you want to link

Steps

  • Search for your business on Google Maps or Google Search. If a listing exists, choose the option to claim it; if not, create one in Google Business Profile.
  • Verify ownership as prompted. Google offers different verification methods to different businesses, and it can take time.
  • After verification, open the profile editor and enter your full address starting with https:// in the website field under contact details.
  • If your profile shows a menu link (restaurants) or booking link field, add the matching page address.
  • Changes may be reviewed before they appear. Once live, tap the link in the Maps app on your phone to confirm the right page opens.

Keep details consistent

If your name, address, hours or contact details differ between the profile and the website, customers get confused. If you use both Korean and English names, settle on one format, and update both places on the same day when details change.

What to expect, and what not to

Linking your website helps people who find you on the map check your menu, courses and how to contact you. It does not guarantee rankings or visibility. Google says local results are based on factors such as relevance, distance and prominence. LOCALMATE is not affiliated with Google, and profile verification is done with the business owner’s own account. When we build your website, we can check the address and the name and hours format to use on your profile.

If you do not have a website yet

You do not need a large site to start. A page with your menu or services, hours, location and contact links can start with the STARTER package (from ₱25,000, 1–3 pages). SEOUL TABLE below is a LOCALMATE concept sample with a visit-information screen, not a restaurant client project.

Frequently asked questions

Does a Google Business Profile cost money?

A Google Business Profile can be created free of charge. Website design and domain costs are separate and are listed separately in a LOCALMATE quote.

Will linking my website put me at the top of Google Maps?

That cannot be guaranteed. The link helps customers check your website from the map; Google decides the order of Maps results.
